A delicious Scandinavian Dill & Salmon Keto Quiche that is perfect for a low-carb diet.

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cooked salmon, flaked
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, heavy cream, cream cheese, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the flaked salmon evenly over the crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the quiche.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add an extra 1/4 cup of heavy cream to the egg mixture.
- For a different flavor, substitute the salmon with cooked shrimp or crab meat.
