This Sesame Tofu & Broccoli recipe is a delicious and healthy dish that brings together the nutty flavors of sesame and the vibrant crunch of broccoli.

- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add cubed tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and add soy sauce and honey/maple syrup. Stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha.
- Feel free to swap broccoli with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
