Description

A delicious and savory omelet featuring smoked trout and melted Gruyère cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ounce smoked trout, flaked
  • 1 ounce Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  3. Pour the eggs into the skillet and let them cook for a few minutes until they begin to set.
  4. Sprinkle the smoked trout and Gruyère cheese over one half of the omelet.
  5. Gently fold the other half of the omelet over the filling.
  6. Cook for another minute until the cheese melts and the eggs are fully cooked.
