Description

A delicious recipe for Spicy Keto Chicken Wings with Anchovy Butter, perfect for a low-carb diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons anchovy paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
  4. While the wings are baking, prepare the anchovy butter. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  5. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the anchovy butter until fully coated.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper or serve with your favorite hot sauce.
  • For a different flavor, substitute the anchovy paste with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
