- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons anchovy paste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the anchovy butter. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the anchovy butter until fully coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper or serve with your favorite hot sauce.
- For a different flavor, substitute the anchovy paste with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
