Description

A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional brittle, made without sugar and packed with almonds and cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups almonds
  • 1 cup erythritol
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a saucepan, combine water, erythritol, cinnamon, and salt; bring to a boil.
  4. Add almonds to the mixture, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden, stirring every 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, allow to cool, then break into pieces.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Feel free to adjust cinnamon to taste.
