Description

Delicious sugar-free dark chocolate ganache truffles that are easy to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the sugar.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sugar-free dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder, for rolling


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Allow to sit for a few minutes until melted.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, until firm.
  5. Using a small scoop, form the chocolate mixture into truffles.
  6. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, add a pinch of sea salt or a drop of peppermint extract.
  • Truffles can be frozen for up to 1 month.
