Description

A flavorful Thai dish featuring grilled beef with a spicy dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, garlic, and chili flakes to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat and brush with vegetable oil.
  4. Grill the beef for about 3-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with chopped cilantro on top and a side of dipping sauce.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the beef overnight.
  • Serve with sticky rice for a complete meal.
