- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon toasted rice powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup shallots, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, separated into leaves
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground duck over medium heat until browned.
- Stir in the fish sauce, lime juice, toasted rice powder, and brown sugar. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in shallots, cilantro, and mint.
- To serve, spoon the duck mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Garnish with cucumber and chili slices if desired.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the duck with mushrooms.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer chilies.
