Enjoy a fresh and healthy take on tacos with these Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps that are low in carbs and full of flavor!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground turkey, and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. To serve, spoon turkey mixture into lettuce leaves.
  6. Top with diced tomatoes, cheese, and salsa.
  7. Wrap and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the turkey mixture.
  • These wraps are great for meal prep; store the filling and lettuce separately.
