A delicious and spooky dessert perfect for Halloween or any ghoulish gathering.
Ingredients

- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, sea salt, and cinnamon (if using) to the blender.
- Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more maple syrup.
- Once fully blended, transfer the mousse into serving bowls or cups.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up.
- Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream.
Notes
- For a minty twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the blender.
- To make it extra decadent, fold in some mini chocolate chips before chilling.
