Description

A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish that highlights the flavors of cheese and pepper.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the noodles.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss with the butter.
  5. Quickly add the Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper, stirring until creamy.
  6. If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  7. Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
