Description

Delicious gluten-free cauliflower bread buns perfect for sandwiches or as a side.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and chop it into florets. Steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and cool the cauliflower, then blend it in a food processor until it is rice-like consistency.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower with eggs, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
  5. Mix until well combined and form into bun shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the cauliflower is well-drained to avoid soggy buns.
  • These buns can be frozen for later use.
  • Add herbs or spices to customize the flavor.
