Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, keeping it intact. Place the cauliflower stem-side down on a cutting board.
  3. Using a sharp knife, slice the cauliflower into 3/4-inch thick ‘steaks.’
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil and then sprinkle the cheese mixture generously on top of each steak.
  6. Place the coated steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the steaks are golden brown and tender.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

  • For added flavor, drizzle a little lemon juice over the steaks before garnishing with parsley.
