Description

A delicious Cheesy Cabbage and Sausage Skillet that combines smoked sausage and tender cabbage with creamy cheeses.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
  4. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  5. Add the cream cheese to the skillet and mix until melted and incorporated.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover the skillet, and cook on low until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
