A delicious Cheesy Cabbage and Sausage Skillet that combines smoked sausage and tender cabbage with creamy cheeses.
Ingredients

- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
- Add the cream cheese to the skillet and mix until melted and incorporated.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover the skillet, and cook on low until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped bell peppers or onions along with the cabbage.
- Substitute the smoked sausage with chorizo or kielbasa for a different taste experience.
