These deliciously crispy avocado fries are perfectly paired with a spicy chipotle aioli for a low-carb, keto-friendly snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut the avocado into fries.
  3. In a bowl, combine almond flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each avocado fry in beaten egg, then coat with the almond flour mixture.
  5. Place the coated fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the fries are cooking, mix together mayonnaise, minced chipotle pepper, and lime juice in a small bowl to make the aioli.
  7. Serve the crispy avocado fries with the chipotle aioli for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure the avocados are ripe for the best texture.
  • Adjust the spice level of the aioli by adding more or less chipotle pepper.
  • These fries can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days but are best enjoyed fresh.
