- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, and salt.
- Add cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in egg and sweetener until the dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a disc and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to fit your pie pan.
- Transfer the crust to the pie pan and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
Notes
- For a sweeter crust, consider adding more sweetener.
- Make sure the butter is very cold for a flaky texture.
