This Flaky Keto Pie Crust is the perfect low-carb alternative for your favorite pies, providing a delicious and buttery flavor without the carbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, and salt.
  2. Add cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Stir in egg and sweetener until the dough forms.
  4. Shape the dough into a disc and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to fit your pie pan.
  7. Transfer the crust to the pie pan and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.

Notes

  • For a sweeter crust, consider adding more sweetener.
