- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or a skillet on medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, feta, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into burger patties.
- Cook the burgers on the grill or skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook until heated through.
- Serve the burgers topped with the tomato cream sauce.
Notes
- For added flavor, let the burger mixture chill for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Perfect to serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
