Description

A delicious and low-carb twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring a refreshing limoncello flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered erythritol
  • 1/4 cup limoncello
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free ladyfingers or alternative
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, powdered erythritol, limoncello, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled espresso, then layer them in a dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and then top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Sprinkle lemon zest on top and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, increase the amount of lemon zest.
