Description

Delicious low-carb pierogies filled with bacon and cheddar, perfect for a keto diet.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, eggs, and salt.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of bacon and green onions in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over and press to seal.
  6. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and fry the pierogies until golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
