- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 tablespoons psyllium husk powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup hot water
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, garlic, and ginger. Cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and green onions. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt.
- Add hot water and mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into portions and flatten each piece.
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each piece.
- Wrap the dough around the filling and seal.
- Steam for about 15 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- Use a steamer basket for best results.
- These buns can also be pan-fried after steaming for added texture.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
