Description

A delicious low-carb option for a comforting meal, these cheese and bacon stuffed meat pies are packed with flavor and easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, coconut flour, and baking powder.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the meat mixture and combine until you have a dough.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and flatten them into circles.
  6. Add a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle and fold over to seal.
  7. Place the stuffed meat pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Make sure to seal the edges of the pies well to prevent filling from leaking out while baking.
  • These can be frozen and reheated for a quick meal.
