Description

A rich and creamy mascarpone mousse topped with sweet, roasted strawberries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss strawberries with balsamic vinegar and honey. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture carefully.
  6. Serve the mousse in cups topped with roasted strawberries.

Notes

  • For an added flavor, consider adding a splash of orange juice to the strawberries before roasting.
