A rich and creamy mascarpone mousse topped with sweet, roasted strawberries.
Ingredients

- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, toss strawberries with balsamic vinegar and honey. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture carefully.
- Serve the mousse in cups topped with roasted strawberries.
Notes
- For an added flavor, consider adding a splash of orange juice to the strawberries before roasting.
- Make the mousse a day in advance for better flavor.
