Description

Deliciously crispy smashed Brussels sprouts mixed with savory bacon, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and wash the Brussels sprouts, then boil them for 5 minutes.
  3. Drain and let them cool slightly, then smash each sprout with the bottom of a glass.
  4. Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  5. In a bowl, mix the smashed Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and bacon pieces.
  6. Place the mixture in the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  7. Remove from the air fryer when crispy and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add parmesan cheese before serving.
  • Adjust cooking time based on how crispy you like your Brussels sprouts.
