A delicious sugar-free take on the classic General Tso Chicken, made easily in the air fryer for a healthier option.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon erythritol or preferred sweetener
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch (optional for crisping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, erythritol, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- If using, toss marinated chicken in cornstarch for extra crispiness.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
