Delicious cabbage rolls filled with teriyaki beef, perfect for a hearty meal.

- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Remove the core from the cabbage and blanch the leaves for about 2 minutes, until softened.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, rice, teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
- Take a cabbage leaf and place a few tablespoons of the beef mixture at the base. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Place rolled cabbage in a baking dish. Pour water over the rolls and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate beef in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before assembling.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
