Description

A delicious low-carb version of the classic grilled cheese sandwich, made with chaffles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese, almond flour, eggs, garlic powder, and baking powder until well mixed.
  3. Pour half of the chaffle mixture into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden and crispy.
  4. Carefully remove the chaffle and add shredded cheddar cheese on top, then pour the remaining mixture over it.
  5. Cook again until the cheese is melted and the chaffle is crispy.
  6. Serve warm.
