Description

This Tuscan Garlic Butter Shrimp Skillet is a quick and flavorful dish made with tender shrimp sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, tossed with cherry tomatoes and spinach. Perfect for a weeknight meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add garlic; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes; cook until tomatoes are softened.
  5. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss everything together; cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with pasta or over rice for a complete meal.
