Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon allspice berries
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup water


Instructions

  1. Rinse the corned beef under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a spice grinder, combine mustard seeds, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, red pepper flakes, and allspice berries. Grind to a fine powder.
  3. Rub the spice mixture over the corned beef, covering it thoroughly.
  4. Place the corn beef in a slow cooker with minced garlic and water.
  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until tender.
  6. Remove from the slow cooker, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
