- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
- Add the cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, onion powder, and salt to a food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Scrape down the sides and blend again if necessary.
- Mix in the fresh herbs and black pepper with a spatula.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
- Transfer to a container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
